Willing WebCam Lite is a webcam utility for Windows. The application allows you to do quite a few things with your web camera. The simplest of all those things is to take pictures using your web cam. You can also record video if you want, and save it to your computer in a video file. But there is much more that you can do. For example, you can set Willing Webcam Lite to create time lapse clips. It will take pictures over a long period of time and then put them together in a video file. When you play the video file, for example, you can see a day worth of pictures taken every 15 seconds in 5 minutes or so. The app also comes with motion detection capabilities, which makes it suitable for setting up a home surveillance system. There is also support for HTTP streaming, or you can upload images to FTP servers.
Honestly, this isn't a bad application; not at all. It is very customizable and it has a great list of features. However, it has a horrible design. The interface is old-looking and overly complicated. For example, I had to play with three drop-down fields just to get the app to show me my web camera. Nothing should be that complicated.
